Since 1998 the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) has practiced a new approach to workplace safety in Ontario. Their new approach emphasizes prevention to reduce job-related injuries. Those high standards are being enforced in every industry, in every business, including CONSTRUCTION & RENOVATIONS. For you or employers this can result in substantial fines, penalties and charges by either the WSIB or The Ministry of Labour.
