MEMBERS APRIL WORKSHOP

This month we have 3 speakers who will address FIRSTLY: Liability Insurance and how it effects you. SECONDLY: Compliance with plumbing & electrical work and THIRDLY: RONA and their Boomerang paint, which you painters, home stagers and renovators should not miss.

FIRST SPEAKER

Will be Ian Polzin ( BSc,CLU,CHFC,CFSB,RIB-Ont) of York Alliance Insurance Brokers Inc.

Ian will be advising you on the effects of liability coverage, while you do renovations or home staging for home owners, especially if damage was caused later to the home owner home and it was shown the damage occurred from the job you completed many years earlier, from work like plumbing, electrical, altering load bearing wall and more.

SECOND SPEAKER

Denis McCallum of Mullacc Mechanical and Vicki Campbell (Master Electrician) of Athena Electric will both briefly address issues regarding home renovations, when non licensed workers touch plumbing or electrical area’s and it’s effects with local bylaws and more.

A RONA representative will talking about the opportunities available, either through the vendor program or merchandise specials.
